The Design
Arrma Granite 4×4 Body
At first glance, the thing that will draw your attention is the graphics and the stickers the Arrma Granite 4×4 has.
The colors and the quality of the graphics are just amazing!
Also, the headlights look real. That LED is well done.
The body comes with 4 clips, 2 in the front and 2 others in the back. Unfortunately, there are no body skids to protect the body if the RC car goes upside down especially since the Arrma Granite 4×4 is an off-road RC Truck.
This means that there is a big probability it will flip over!
No one wants to hurt that great painting!
Also, when it comes to the rear, it’s so simple, there are some stickers for the red lights.
Overall, the Arrma Granite 4×4 body is pretty basic. Nothing interesting other than the great graphics and colors.
Still, this body can be a strong shield for your RC car against dust and mud that can break down the electronics and the internal parts.

Arrma Granite 4×4 Chassis
Since this is an Off-road RC truck, the Arrma Granite 4×4 is high with huge wheels.
As you know, this is not the first Arrma produced. There are 2 other previous versions of it, and this is the third most advanced one.
For this matter, there were some changes and updates. So, if you already have the first or second version, you’ll notice some changes.
Some of the most important parts of any Arrma RC truck is the bumper. Bumpers are so important for off-roading RC cars. And this is what Arrma has focused on in this Arrma Granite 4×4 version.
The front bumper is wider and bigger, it does look strong and can handle a lot of crashes. It does come with some small beautiful details. You definitely can rely on it.
On the other hand, the rear bumper has also been updated, it doesn’t look as strong as the front one. But, it can do the job perfectly.
Under the bumpers, there is a wheelie bar that comes with the car in the box.
When it comes to the suspension system, it doesn’t come with aluminum parts, unfortunately, but is still able to toddle the crashes.
Even if you break them, you can always get the aftermarket parts, they’re widely available. You have nothing to worry about.
Also, they can be adjusted depending on what you like.
Other than that, the Arrma Granite 4×4 chassis comes with the usual internal parts that any RC car has. But, here is the great thing!
This chassis is so easy to fix. You can change the parts easily, no screws are needed for the most part. This is the secret that made this chassis great.
If you’re a beginner and know nothing about RC cars, this chassis will make learning a lot about them.
It’s so organized and structured. The parts’ placement is also clear and easy to recognize and take off with your hands.

Arrma Granite 4×4 Tires
We can’t talk about the Arrma Granite 4×4 without mentioning the tires and the wheels, really well-designed!
Those black wheels look so strong they can hold against the dust and mud they’re going through.
When it comes to the stores, they’re vinted tires that are built to take out dirt away in case it went inside.
Overall, despite having a simple body and chassis, the Arrma Granite 4×4 has a lot to say when it comes to performance as a beast Arrma RC car!

Arrma Granite 4×4 Performance
The Arrma Granite 4×4 has a great performance. This RC truck can reach a speed of up to 50mph which is 80km/h.
This speed can’t be reached without the combination of the Spektrum™ Firma™ 3200Kv brushless motor, BLX100 2S/3S waterproof ESC, the 4WD system, and the 3s Lipo battery.
You can always put a 2s Lipo battery to lower its speed.
The motor comes with a cooling fan and a heat sink to prevent it from burning. These can able to keep the motor working at a high-temperature degree.
In addition to all these parts, the Arrma Granite 4×4 comes with a servo that can put 101 inches of torque with metal gears which is so powerful. You don’t need to worry about the servo like it used to be!
And here you go, you’ll be able to drive an 80mph RC Truck right out of the box. All you have to do is put a 6s Lipo battery on and you’re done.
Be careful to put the full throttle at first because it will go fast and you might lose control over it. No one wants to break its new RC car on the first try.
But, if you’re an expert and you know how to control even if you pull the full throttle, then it’s ok. The wheelie bar also will help you maintain some control.
When driving, you might see that it’s hard to control it in the air when you jump. You won’t always be able to land on the wheels, but it’s ok. It’s really fun though!
Overall, the performance of the Arrma Gran is outstanding especially since it comes with a brushless motor and can reach 50 mph which is a high speed for such an affordable RC Car.

Arrma Granite 4×4 Systems
The Arrma Granite 4×4 doesn’t come with a lot of systems like the Arrma Felony that we just reviewed last time.
The remote control of the Arrma Felony is different than the one of the Arrma Granite 4×4.
This one is simpler and has fewer features. The Granite 4×4 works with the SPEKTRUM™ 3-CHANNEL SLT3™ 2.4GHZ RADIO AND SLR300 WATERPROOF RECEIVER which has good quality.
However, it doesn’t have the Active Vehicle Control (AVC) that can help you gain control over your vehicle by turning the wheels to the opposite side where the RC car is sliding. It’s a great feature.
So, if you’re a beginner, you better drive this RC truck with 2s Lipo, then, go for the Arrma Granite 4×4 3s. Otherwise, you will have difficulties making this RC car go straight at high speeds.
Also, there is no Spektrum app for this RC car which is disappointing a little bit.

Annoying Things About the Arrma Granite 4×4
As mentioned at the beginning of the article, one of the best parts that can draw your attention is the body.
However, it’s missing some points. One of them is the external skids that are supposed to be there to protect the body. The absence of these will make the body endangered of being cracked!
I wish the controller had more functions and features. Maybe adding the AVC system would make your driving experience better.
Other than that, the Arrma Granite 4×4 looks powerful.
What about the great things I like about this RC car?
