Arrma Limitless V2 was released after the first version got a great fan base of Arrma RC cars players.
This RC car is the fastest Arrma RC car and can hit more than 100 mph, making it one of the quickest production RC cars in addition to the Traxxas XO-1.
The V2 version doesn’t seem to have anything new than the previous version at least on the outside. What about the performance? Is it better? Is it worth it?

The Design
Arrma Limitless V2 Body
Arrma Limitless is well known for its blue-painted aerodynamics body that has a big role in increasing the speed of the car.
The Arrma Limitless V2 comes with the same body shape, but it is not painted. It is offered as a clear body that you have to paint. It’s called the Rattle Can.
While painting the body can be hard for some people, it’s fun for others!
Also, you don’t need to paint it if you don’t want to, you can still enjoy seeing the internal parts in your RC car!

Arrma Limitless V2 Chassis
Just like the V1, the Arrma Limitless V2 is a bash roller that doesn’t come with any electrical parts.
All you get is the chassis with the suspension system and the shocks as well as the metal bars in the middle.
However, so many internal parts have changed and have been better positioned.
Concerning the front, nothing has changed on the bumper level except for the transparent fixed body part in the front.
The difference remains though in the suspension system that has been stiffened specifically the shock springs and the sway bar hidden in the middle. You can feel the difference.
Also, some of the small differences between the V1 and V2 are the servo arm taco rolls and the steering. This part has been changed in the new version to have a smaller spline with 23 teeth instead of the older version which has a 25-tooth spline.
The 25-tooth spline is compatible with almost any servo. Still, you can always change it since you can do that. Remember, you have an Arrma and everything is possible!
Another difference remains in the center of the chassis in the drive line. In the Arrma Limitless V2, you have a bigger space for the motor to slide over which was small in the V1.
The driveshaft has also changed to be equal in the back and the front, unlike the V1.
The receiver box has changed as well and became bigger than the V1.
Additionally, the two versions have a gearing difference. The Arrma Limitless V2 comes with 39 spur gears while the Limitless V1 comes with 34 tooth spur gears.
The V1 comes with a 27-tooth pinion gear, unfortunately, the second version doesn’t include any. Still, you can buy one aftermarket.
In the end, most of the changes that the Arrma Limitless V2 comes with are small changes but with big effects.
Those changes combine to make a big difference in performance and handling.
