Speed Testing: From 2S to 3S Power

We tested the brushless Mojave to check its speed. Our team tested the product on a rocky road.

The brushed version of the ARRMA Mojave Grom (MEGA 380 Brushed) can reach speeds of about 20-25 mph (32-40 km/h) with its stock setup. We had a 2s battery version of the Grom RC car.

The brushless Mojave runs right out of the box (RTR) with the 2S battery. However, for those looking for even more speed, the Arrma Mojave trucks are also 3S capable. We had both versions of the brushless truck 2s and 3s battery.  This RC truck delivers incredible speeds. On a 2S battery, it hit an impressive 22 mph at 50% throttle and climbed to 28 mph at 75% throttle. When pushed to 100%, it reached a remarkable 35 mph right out of the box.

But the real thrill comes with a 3S battery. The Mojave shattered expectations, hitting 40 mph at 75% throttle and peaking at a mind-blowing 48 mph at full throttle. This makes it one of the fastest small-scale RC trucks available in its price range.

Arma has once again proven why they are a dominant force in the RC world. The Mojave’s brushless upgrade brings speed, power, durability, and user-friendly improvements. With speeds exceeding 50 mph, this truck delivers excitement and value. For beginners, the brushed version is suitable. On the other hand, for those who prefer more speed, the brushless version is perfect.
