The Design

Arrma Limitless V2 Body

Arrma Limitless is well known for its blue-painted aerodynamics body that has a big role in increasing the speed of the car.

The Arrma Limitless V2 comes with the same body shape, but it is not painted. It is offered as a clear body that you have to paint. It’s called the Rattle Can.

While painting the body can be hard for some people, it’s fun for others!

Also, you don’t need to paint it if you don’t want to, you can still enjoy seeing the internal parts in your RC car!

Other than that, the body looks the same.

Arrma Limitless V2 Chassis

Just like the V1, the Arrma Limitless V2 is a bash roller that doesn’t come with any electrical parts.

All you get is the chassis with the suspension system and the shocks as well as the metal bars in the middle.

However, so many internal parts have changed and have been better positioned.

Concerning the front, nothing has changed on the bumper level except for the transparent fixed body part in the front.

The difference remains though in the suspension system that has been stiffened specifically the shock springs and the sway bar hidden in the middle. You can feel the difference.

Also, some of the small differences between the V1 and V2 are the servo arm taco rolls and the steering. This part has been changed in the new version to have a smaller spline with 23 teeth instead of the older version which has a 25-tooth spline.

The 25-tooth spline is compatible with almost any servo. Still, you can always change it since you can do that. Remember, you have an Arrma and everything is possible!

Another difference remains in the center of the chassis in the drive line. In the Arrma Limitless V2, you have a bigger space for the motor to slide over which was small in the V1.

The driveshaft has also changed to be equal in the back and the front, unlike the V1.

The receiver box has changed as well and became bigger than the V1.

Additionally, the two versions have a gearing difference. The Arrma Limitless V2 comes with 39 spur gears while the Limitless V1 comes with 34 tooth spur gears.

The V1 comes with a 27-tooth pinion gear, unfortunately, the second version doesn’t include any. Still, you can buy one aftermarket.

In the end, most of the changes that the Arrma Limitless V2 comes with are small changes but with big effects.

Those changes combine to make a big difference in performance and handling.

As you know, this is a Roller RC car that doesn’t come with any electrical parts; Instead, you should get them yourself and figure out the best configuration for the best performance.

But you don’t need to do this.

Other than being one of the most beautiful Arrma RC cars, the Arrma Vendetta is one of the best and most powerful street RC cars that you should think about!

Alongside the Felony, the Infraction, and the Limitless, the Vendetta comes to give a different impression about street RC cars! It’s so different.

The Felony and the infraction are badass RC cars that have another role than racing which is drifting, so, we can’t fully include them in the racing RC cars, On the other hand, the limitless is a formula 1 RC car which is different as well.

But, what are the features and the qualities that make the Arrma Vendetta different than these street RC cars?

This is what we will know in this article.

The Design

Arrma Vendetta Body

We’re running into one of the features that make this RC car different than the others, it’s the Arrma Vendetta body.

At first glance, you’ll notice a lot of cool and strange things on this RC car that you may not know why they’re there. But, here is the thing, they’re there for a reason!

The body comes with a lot of holes, angles and different types of spoilers, all these qualities are adding more power and downforce so that this RC car can cut through the air as fast as possible which it does!

The Front

When you see the front of the body for the first time, you’ll notice that this RC car is faceless! And what I mean by that is the fact that it doesn’t have any headlights or even stickers.

All it has is a grill sticker that looks cool especially since it is placed down in the front since this RC car has a low ground clearance.

Other than that, the front of the Arrma Vendetta body doesn’t come with any decoration or sticker, it’s so simple which gives you the impression that this RC car doesn’t have time for stickers. It’s calling you “Let’s get serious, buddy!”

On top of the hood, you’ll find the two body clips that any Arrma RC car has. But here is a great detail that shows you how the creators of this RC car care about aerodynamics!

The clips aren’t on the same level as the hood, there is a small curve going down where the clips are located. This is done to prevent the clips to be in the way of the airflow so that your RC car goes smoothly which is well done!

In addition to that, the hood in the middle isn’t the same on the sides the sides on top of the wheels are higher.

If you see the car from the front, you’ll notice a “U” shape to create a road for the airflow. That’s amazing!

The Middle and The Rear

Like the front, the middle of the Arrma Vendetta body is made to make the airflow goes smoothly.

The windows aren’t real, they’re stickers, but their design is sporty and shows that this RC car is made for speed.

What about the Rear? Well, this is the place where things get interesting!

What makes most people attracted to this RC car is the rear spoiler as well as the vertical stabilizer which is the first thing that you’ll notice since almost no RC car comes with it.

Now, here is the thing, we know that the rear spoiler increases the downforce to keep the car on the ground to increase the grip and speed.

What about the vertical stabilizer? This is something we see only in planes, racing cars, and some rare hypercars. How does it work?

Simply, the vertical stabilizer helps your RC car to turn in sharp corners at high speed and prevents it from flipping to the side because of the high pressure of turning.

It is so necessary for race cars, especially in Le Mans (Car race). So, the Arrma Vendetta is comparable to those beast cars that race in these international races! Isn’t that great?

By the way, unlike some Arrma RC cars where the rear spoiler is a part of the chassis like the Talion, the spoiler on the Vendetta is connected to the body.

Also, there is an optional spoiler that comes in the box, it’s not curvy like the one that comes connected to the car, it’s straight. You can test and choose which one is more compatible with your RC car.

Wait! The spoiler and the stabilizer are not the only interesting thing in this RC car. There is more…

It’s the rear diffuser! this one looks like the one on the Arrma Infraction which comes also with a big diffuser. It’s not a part of the body though, it’s a part of the chassis.

The difference between the diffuser of the Infraction and the Arrma Vendetta is the additional Lexan part.

Lexan is a material much stronger and more resistant than glass. It is always included in race cars because it is the perfect fit for them.

Overall, the great thing about the Arrma Vendetta is the fact that it is not only built for speed with some simple aerodynamics techniques, but it is also actually one of the most realistic Arrma RC cars! This thing has been taken seriously during the amazing building!

Arrma Vendetta Body Colors

When it comes to colors, this RC car comes in two colors, green and purple. They both look good, so it depends on your personal preferences.

Arrma Vendetta Chassis

If you’re familiar with or you own an Arrma Infraction, you’ll notice that this Arrma Vendetta comes with almost the same chassis.

Like the Infraction, this RC car chassis is so low and close to the ground, there is also a big bumper in the front to absorb any shocks.

It is not recommended to go off-road or drive on a road filled with little rocks because this will scratch your chassis from the bottom especially since this chassis is made from plastic, not metal! So, be careful with that.

After that comes the body mount which is adjustable in case you wanted to try another aftermarket body.

Behind the body mount, there is the suspension system that contains the suspension arms, the shocks as well as the shock tower. They’re all built-in plastic that makes the RC car’s weight lighter.

The same thing goes in the rear plus the rear diffuser which is connected to the body.

Regarding the Arrma Vendetta wheels, they’re some of the best wheels I’ve ever seen. That design is incredible.

The Arrma Vendetta tires on the other hand are well built for speed, they have a high rip and they’re perfect for such a race RC car.

When it comes to the internal electric parts, as you know, this RC car comes ready to run with all the parts that you need except for the batteries of the car, the transmitter as well as the battery charger. This is something that all RC cars do.

As you know, the Arrma Vendetta is a ready-to-run RC car which means that all you need to unbox it, get a battery, and go for a run. Easy and simple!

This RC car can reach up to 70mph using a Powerful Spektrum Firma 3660 3900Kv brushless motor with a heatsink and a cooling fan, Spektrum Firma 100A Smart ESC with IC5^® connectors (EC5 compatible), And 3s Lipo battery in addition to the optional pinion gear that comes in the box.

Of course, these are not the only parts that make this RC car so powerful, there is also the receiver and the transmitter that we will go through in detail in the next section.

All of this is great and perfect. But, there is another surprise!

You can run this RC car on 4s Lipo batteries! The Arrma Vendetta is with metal-geared diffs compatible with 4s batteries.

However, you can’t do that right out of the box, you need to upgrade some electronics and add some fans maybe. Well, you should try different things to find that perfect combination.

Of course, you should be an expert to do that, otherwise, you risk putting your RC car in a danger or maybe yourself as well!

But actually, the 4s upgrade is the best part of buying this RC car, so, if you know what you’re doing, I recommend you do that! It’s a lot of fun.

Other than trying the 4s batteries, you can also try the performance of the Arrma Vendetta using the different spoilers you have and see how that works and which one is better.

Other than racing, the Vendetta can also do drifting despite being not that fun in comparison to the Infraction and the Felony.

So, in general, having this RC car will make you enjoy both driving it as well as brainstorming what you can do to make it reach 100mph.

Arrma Vendetta Transmitter and Receiver

The Arrma Vendetta transmitted and receiver have a big role in making this RC car easy to drive and control.

As you know, the transmitter of this RC car is the DX3 which is well known for its high quality and great features.

This transmitter is the same as the one that comes with the Talion, the infraction as well as a lot of other Arrma RC cars.

There are a lot of features like showing you the battery level using the light indicators which are 4. The more indicators are on, the more battery energy you have.

Also, you can always install the Spektrum Dashboard App to know more about your RC car including the top and actual speed and the temperature as well as a lot of other info. It’s really fun to see these things.

Arrma Vendetta Upgrades

Since the chassis of the Arrma Vendetta have a lot in common with the other Arrma RC cars, you will find no problem having those parts and upgrades.

Since most Arrma Vendetta parts are made of plastic, you can use this opportunity and upgrade them to Aluminum, it will add some weight to the chassis which may affect the performance, but it’s okay.

Wait, do you remember the 4s upgrades that you should add to drive this RC car to its full potential? Well, this is your chance because you can find a lot of electronics that fit this chassis.

So, all you should do now is to go and start upgrading.

What I Don’t Like about the Arrma Vendetta

Honestly, this RC car looks so special in front of the other Arrma RC cars which is great for someone that wants something different.

Everything in this RC car is perfect, despite having a similar chassis to the other RC cars like the Infraction, but it still has a lot of special features like the 4s ability and the different diffuser.

In this article, you better pull yourself together, because we’re reviewing the fastest RC car you will ever see: The Arrma Limitless!

Yes, you’re reading that right. The Arrma Limitless is the fastest Arrma RC car if not the fastest RC car in the world.

By the way, this is not the fastest production RC car like the Traxxas XO-1, it’s the fastest RC car. Why? Because the Arrma Limitless is not a ready-to-run RC car.

It doesn’t come with all the pieces together, you should add them. Don’t worry, we will walk through more details about this RC car.

So, despite being the fastest, is it worth it? Can you get it as a beginner?

Well, these are the questions that we will answer in the next few lines…

Arrma Limitless Design

Arrma Limitless Body

There is no way you can tell me that there is a better-looking RC car than the Arrma Limitless.

First of all, it’s a formula 1 RC car which is already cool and hard to ignore.

Second, the engineering behind the Arrma Limitless is not done for an RC car it’s done for an RC car that will run at +120mph, the lines, the edges, and the body construction are all adding a major value to the beauty of the Arrma Limitless.

The Arrma Limitless body isn’t normal this body is so thick and rigid. It doesn’t fully come out, and the front part can’t be taken off.

This body has been carefully built since it is so important for aerodynamics. These physics rules can make a car go faster or destroy it with one simple mistake.

The front part that is attached to the chassis is built as a front diffuser and at the same time as a shield for the front shocks that are popping out of the body.

The Rear

In the rear, there are two holes built in the body to allow the air that enters the body to leave without an impact on the Arrma Limitless performance.

In addition to that, next to the holes, they have built an included spoiler to use that air coming out from the holes as a tool to add more downforce which is super cool.

We can’t, of course, ignore the gigantic spoiler included in the chassis. That spoiler isn’t acting as a spoiler only, it does include a diffuser to the flow of the air which is only the second one since the principal diffuser is in the chassis.

The body doesn’t come with any skids or internal cage, it does come through with 3 clips to fix it on the chassis. One in the front and two in the back.

So, overall, the Arrma Limitless body is not like anybody that you can just go and add to your RC car, it’s well studied and every single detail is there for a reason!

Can you have an Arrma Limitless custom body?

Of course, you can! you can buy a different one, or you can even have your own Arrma Limitless custom body!

What about the chassis?

Arrma Limitless Chassis

First of all, the first thing you will see when you open up the body and see the chassis is an empty Arrma Limitless chassis.

How’s that? Well, if you remember in the introduction, we mentioned that the Arrma Limitlessisn’t a Ready-To-Run (RTR) RC car.

It does come with essential parts like the differential, the shocks, and the wheels while you the driver has to choose the other electronics which are mainly the source of power.

The parts that you should add are the metal gear, the steering servo, the ESC, the motor, the pinion gear, as well as the controller, the receiver, and the Lipo battery.

All these parts are yours to choose from. And choosing them decides the performance of your Arrma Limitless. This is why you better be an expert and have some experience with RC cars.

The Arrma Limitless chassis has a low ground clearance. You don’t have to worry about cracking or bending it because it is supported by a thick layer of metal that can support that high speed.

This is not the only support though, this chassis is supported by a central bar from the front to the back to make the chassis more rigid and stronger.

But here is the thing, if you’re familiar with Arrma RC cars, doesn’t this chassis look familiar?

Yes, you’re right, this is the same platform and the same chassis as the Arrma Infraction. It’s the same, all they added is that front part of formula 1 and the big spoiler in the end.

Up to now, everything we’ve seen about the Arrma Limitless chassis is great. But, here is a cooler thing…

In this RC car, you’re not supposed to follow the rules that the chassis is giving you. What I mean by that is you don’t have to install the parts in the places where they should be installed.

You can change the places freely. Do you want to install the motor in the place of the battery while moving the battery to another side? You can do it!

Do you want to install that part in that place? Go ahead and do it. This freedom that you have is thanks to the ability to be modified using the screws under the chassis. With these screws, you can modify the whole chassis.

This is the great thing about this Arrma Limitless, it makes you creative.

You can see on the internet the different setups that people make for their Arrmas and get inspired by them.

This way, you can have your RC car. It’s unbelievable!

Arrma Limitless Performance

We all know how strong the Arrma Limitless is. You can search YouTube and see how people can breach imaginable speeds with that thing.

But, as mentioned before, this RC car doesn’t come with specific parts to give you that exact metric of how powerful it is. You decide its performance and speed.

It’s not easy though. You have to search for the different parts that we mentioned before and make sure that they’re compatible and can work together smoothly. Otherwise, a burnup might happen.

The setup can vary depending on your budget and your goal as well. For example, the setup of a 100mph Arrma Limitless isn’t the same as the setup of a +150mph, this one required more time, money, and energy!

So, if you want to have this RC car and have no idea how to customize it, here is a small setup that we suggest for you to see how this works:

Check this Setup:

A 32Kg steering servo 7.4 v: this is a good choice if you want to have a steering servo that can last a long time. It is also strong, waterproof, and can handle the pressure of the speed. It’s not the fastest, but, it does the job very well.

2000KV Brushless motor: if you’re looking to save some money, you better take that motor. It won’t give you the best speed, you get what you pay for after all. But, it’s a great part that you can add to your Arrma Limitless.

If 2000KV is too much for you, you can try other motors with less power like the 1520KV motor.

Or why not go all out and try a 2200KV brushless motor and see what happens?

Concerning the ESC, this part has to be compatible with the motor. If you don’t know how to do that, it’s fine, you don’t have to worry about that you can buy a motor with its compatible ESC to avoid the headache.

The Arrma Limitless Remote Control

When it comes to the remote control and the receiver, you can choose from the different Spektrum receivers and controllers depending on the features you want.

You can have a controller with a receiver that supports AVC which is the Active Vehicle control that helps you keep the Arrma Limitless going straight ahead and prevent losing control.

Or, you can go with a normal controller which can do well also.

However, I prefer the AVC receiver since it won’t only help you, but, it will protect your RC car as well from crashes resulting from losing control.

The recommended one is the DX5C remote control, it does come with a lot of features including a built-in screen. It comes with a receiver as well.

So, as you see, the setup you choose depends on the performance you want to reach in your Arrma Limitless as well as depends on the budget you’re willing to spend on this RC car.

Some people don’t spend that much and enjoy having a medium-performance RC car while others spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of tests. Some of them are wins, others are losses to give you in the end a masterpiece that can beat even a real Formula 1 car like this one in the video below:

For example, if you think that the wheels will burn quickly because of the high speed you programmed your RC car for, you can upgrade to better ones.

You can upgrade to aluminum parts to harden your Arrma Limitless which is great.

Other than that, there are no limits to upgrading this RC car! You’re free to go wild because you should!

Annoying Things About the Arrma Limitless

Actually, for such an RC car, nothing is annoying about it since everything setup is by your doing, so if it annoys you, it’s because of you, just change it!

But, for beginners, this may be a bit challenging to customize such an RC car, especially since that may lose a lot of money and energy building it to burn up.

Still, if you’re passionate about this, you’ll enjoy the process, because that’s what matters in such activities.

Great Things About the Arrma Limitless

The first great thing about the Arrma Limitless is the concept itself of building an RC car that can reach more than 120 mph which is amazing.

Also, the chassis that Arrma put in this RC car makes the owner assured since this is a well know chassis that has proven its abilities with the Arrma Infraction. Adding it in the Arrma Limitless was a smart move.

The high precision of building the body and making it aerodynamics-friendly is incredible. I love aerodynamics and enjoy seeing the flow of the air going through the body.

First of all, you should buy the Arrma Limitlessitself with the body and the chassis. It’s affordable since it doesn’t come with expensive parts, nothing really to worry about up to this point.

The rest depends on you, it depends on the cost of the parts that you want to add to your RC car. It can be some hundreds of dollars and can rise to thousands of dollars.

In general, this price point is good, especially for someone that has some experience and knows what it takes to build that RC car.

The Arrma Felony 8s is one of the most powerful and aggressive Arrma RC cars. Owning this RC car means that you’ll have a lot of secrets to reveal!

If you’re familiar with cars and racing in the real world, you’ll know that the Arrma Felony 8s design is inspired by the real Mustang Hoonicorn. If you don’t know this car, you’re missing a lot!

The great thing about this RC car is how beautiful it is. I can’t take my eyes off it! It’s a masterpiece.

Furthermore, when it comes to performance, you’ll find another beast sitting under the hood.

Still, there are a lot of competitors that you may be interested in as well.

One of them is the infraction that has the same base and platform as the Felony, So, what makes the Arrma Felony 8s worth your time and money?

Arrma Felony 8s Design

Arrma Felony Body

There is no doubt that you’ll agree with me if I tell you that the Arrma Felony body and design is one of the best designs in the Arrma RC cars if not the best. Isn’t it?

This RC car will get your attention especially if you’re obsessed with drifting street cars and classic tuned cars. You’ll fall in love.

The Arrma Felony body comes in two colors. Black and orange. Also, it does come with 4 clips to fix the body on the chassis.

The front

As you see, the Arrma Felony 8s comes with a classic design that is inspired by the Mustang Hoonicorn, but, with some modern design updates on the body.

Things like the LED light stickers, the big bumper with its air splitter, as well as the grill where you have the Arrma logo on the side just like real badass supercars!

The front of the car especially the front bumper is full of small details that will blow your mind. Unfortunately, the LED lights and the front grill aren’t real. If they were, that would be another story.

On top of the hood, you have the part that is presenting the symbol of super classic cars which is the air intake. It’s fake of course, but, it gives you a better look at this RC car.

This air intake is included in the box, so don’t expect to be on the car once you take it out of the box. It’s up to you to add it or not.

In addition to the air intake, other small accessories come in the box as well which you can use to customize your RC car.

Other than that, there are a lot of other small details that you’ll enjoy discovering yourself. I’m not going to spoil everything.

The Rear

Concerning the rear end of the Arrma Felony 8s, it’s interesting as well.

The first thing that can grab your attention is the huge spoiler in the back. That spoiler can be removed or you can just leave it there.

Some people like it because it adds more stability, others don’t because they see that it doesn’t play well when it comes to aerodynamics since it increases the drag.

In the end, you can try to drive the Arrma Felony 8s with and without a spoiler to see which one is most convenient for you.

In case you remove it, you’ll find another small spoiler that will as well help with the aerodynamics.

Another great thing about the Arrma Felony 8s is the double exhaust that looks amazing in the middle of the rear bumper.

Under that, you’ll find a huge air diffuser. These aerodynamic parts are helping with the stability of the car, so don’t underestimate their existence!

Arrma Felony 8s Chassis

One of the most important things about the Arrma Felony chassis is the low ground clearance which helps a lot with the aerodynamics.

When it comes to the chassis structure, it is the same platform as the infraction V2.

Like the infraction, the Arrma Felony 8s comes with a brushless motor and double batteries. You can use 4s Lipo batteries or 6s Lipo if you want to go at full speed.

In comparison to the Infraction V1, the Arrma Felony 8s got some great updates on the electronics. However, in comparison to the Infraction V2, it’s almost the same.

This means that the features that the latest infraction has are the same as the Arrma Felony 8s has as well. That includes even the adjustable body mount which allows you to elevate the body from the ground.

Most of the updates that the Felony has is from the Spektrum parts like the ESC, the motor as well as the fan, and the heat sink.

Other than that, with this high-speed RC car, the chassis should be able to withstand and handle the pressure of the speed with its metal plate on the bottom, especially in a case of a crash.

The Arrma Felony chassis is so reliable! Our friend Brett from Amain Hobbies crashed its Arrma Felony 8s right into a curb. And the surprise was that there was minor damage just in the air splitter!

Arrma Felony Tires

For such a fast beast, tires are some of the most important parts that you should take care of not only to have the best performance but also for the safety of your RC car.

The Arrma Felony 8s does come with the great Arrma Dboots Hons that withstand a lot of speed and drift pressure.

Also, to increase the drifting performance and give you a better drifting experience, the rear wheels are taller and wider than the front ones.

Now, all you have to do is to push the full throttle and enjoy your drive!

Arrma Felony 8s Performance

The Arrma Felony is well known for its high performance and speed that can reach more than 80mph!

This RC beast comes with a Spektrum^® Firma 4074 2050Kv Brushless Motor and a Spektrum^® Firma 150A Smart ESC. By adding 2 3s Lipo batteries, you can reach up to 65 or 70mph.

To reach this speed, all you have to do is to add 2 3s Lipo batteries after getting your RC car out of the box. Just like that, so easy!

But, to reach 80mph, you should change the gear. Don’t worry, it’s not complicated, it does come with the Arrma Felony 6s in the box, so you don’t need to get confused in choosing which one to buy.

If you change the pinion gear, you’ll unlock the ultimate power the Arrma Felony 6s has. Then, you can reach 80mph.

By the way, as Brett said in the video above, each pinion gear has its function. The one that comes as a stock with the RC car can be used for bashing and drifting.

On the other hand, the pinion gear that can increase speed should be used only for speed. No bashing! Otherwise, you risk burning the electronics of your expensive Arrma Felony!

All that we did right now is talk about the stock Arrma Felony!

But, if you’re an expert and you want to have more speed and excitement, you can tune your RC car more and reach imaginable speeds!

Still, there is something that may concern some people! It’s the gearbox! Let me explain…

As mentioned earlier, the rear tires are taller and wider than the front tires. If you don’t know, this is not something that was there just to make the car look cool!

There is a reason behind that. It’s the gearbox. The rear gearbox is different than the front gearbox.

The problem remains if you’re looking to use aftermarket tires since they don’t provide the sizes of the rear and the front tires.

However, if you’re using the stock tires, or even if the stock is broken, you can always get the same with the same size for the front and the rear. Click the button below to check those tires:

In addition to that, there is no reason for you to change the tires since the stock ones are perfect and powerful to handle the pressure this car put on them.

Overall, the Arrma Felony 8s is almost a perfect RC car in terms of design and performance. Still, these two can’t be perfect without a system that controls them.

Arrma Felony 8s Systems

Active Vehicle Control (AVC)

For such an RC car with high speeds, a system that helps the driver with control is highly recommended to avoid fatal accidents especially since we talk about an 80mph RC beast that you have within your hands!

One of the best systems you have on the Arrma Felony 8s is Active Vehicle Control (AVC). This system helps you with turning your wheels right and left automatically whenever the car slides and loses control.

If the car is sliding to the left, the wheels turn automatically to the right, and so on.

The great thing about that is the fact that you can even control the degree of interference of this system using your remote control. It’s useful especially if it’s your first time driving this RC car.

Remote Control

Other than that, the new update of the radio system from Spektrum is so great.

The remote control of the Arrma Felony 8s is the same as the one on the Infraction. The same function, the same size, and the same technology (Spektrum^® 3-Channel DX3 2.4GHz DSMR)!

With this new update now, you can control your RC car from a bigger distance while having a lot of info about it within your hands.

Here is a cool thing about the Spektrumremote control, you can see the battery level of your RC car through it. Isn’t that amazing?

Spektrum Dashboard App

Here is another cool thing you need to know…

You can now see a lot of info about your RC car on your phone using Bluetooth. This includes the motor temperature, the actual speed, the top speed, as well as more and more info.

To get this feature, all you have to do is to install the Spektrum Dashboard App, connect it to the remote control using Bluetooth, and there you go!

Believe me, this is so exciting and fun to have!

Arrma Felony Upgrades

Any RC car has its upgrades. And so had this RC car.

The only thing that I wish it has is the real headlights. Those LEDs, if they were real, will be even cooler.

If you say the ARRMA Infraction V2, I will tell you that you’re talking about one of the best-looking Arrma RC cars!

If you love street racing and drifting as well, the ARRMA Infraction V2is the best RC car for you.

We’re not talking about the design only, but also about the speed and the performance. This thing is a beast!

In this article, I will tell you everything you need to know about the ARRMA Infraction V2!

ARRMA Infraction V2 Design

ARRMA Infraction V2 Body

The front

As mentioned earlier, the ARRMA Infraction V2 body is one of the best designs in Arrma RC cars and why not the whole RC cars world?

That badass aggressive look makes you want to drive this RC car so badly. Indeed, the headlights and most of the accessories that this ARRMA Infraction V2 has on the body are not real which is a little disappointing.

Still, they look great on such an RC car.

The other great thing about the ARRMA Infraction V2 body is how classic it looks.

It does come with sharp square edges, a 90-degree angle front, as well as a sporty-looking bumper.

Yes, you’re right, this is not an aerodynamic-friendly RC car. Still, driving it will make you feel like there is nothing in the way.

Unfortunately, the body is not clipless. But here is the bright side of it, the ARRMA Infraction V2 doesn’t come with a unique color all over the body.

It usually comes with a lot of colors and stickers. As a consequence, the clips are so hard to find and recognize, this means that they won’t break the design and color consistency.

The Rear

The rear of the ARRMA Infraction V2 body is as great as the front. You have those big redlight stickers that will grab your attention while driving.

There are also some other clips. 2 on the front and 2 others on the back.

The back of the ARRMA Infraction V2 contains also something interesting that you may not see at first glance. It’s the spoiler. Have you seen it?

It is transparent and hard to see, but it is so huge.

On top, you have two plastic small pieces that protect the body in case the car flips on its back.

Colors

The ARRMA Infraction V2 comes in 2 colors, Black color, and Silver. As mentioned earlier, they’re not the only colors on the body, there are some small stickers as well in different colors.

ARRMA Infraction V2 Chassis

The first thing you’ll notice while looking at this RC car is how close it is to the ground. This helps a lot with aerodynamics to increase speed.

The ARRMA Infraction V2 chassis looks strong and capable of handling a lot of pressure. Furthermore, the low clearance of the chassis makes it hard for the car to flip over.

In the middle of the chassis, the first thing you’ll notice is the central bar responsible for handling the chassis. Fortunately, this is not a built-in plastic bar, it is an aluminum bar which is way better.

By the way, this is the central driveshaft, the central driveshaft is in the bottom center of the ARRMA Infraction V2 chassis.

But, most people will say: “Since this is a low clearance RC car, there is a big probability that the chassis will have a bad time dealing with the road especially off-road”

Well, here is the answer, The ARRMA Infraction V2 isn’t only an on-road RC car, it is also an Off-Road!

You can adjust the body mounts in the front and rear of the car. With this option available, you’ll be able to elevate the body a few millimeters more than it already was.

And by the way, these tires and all-road tires, you don’t need to worry about them. They’re worth it!

When it comes to the bottom of the chassis, is covered with a metal layer and ends with a huge diffuser in the rear. With this metal, do you think you’ll have any problems? I don’t think so!

Other than that, the ARRMA Infraction V2 chassis comes with the necessary parts that any RC car needs to function.

However, the difference between a normal RC car and this ARRMA Infraction V2 is the power of these parts!

We will talk about this later in the performance section.

ARRMA Infraction V2 Performance

Here is the thing about the ARRMA Infraction V2. It’s a beast!

With a 2050Kv Brushless motor and a powerful SPEKTRUM FIRMA 150A smart ESC, this RC car can reach up to 80mph. Don’t forget that batteries are an important condition.

You can add double 2s or 3s batteries. Yes, this RC car comes with double batteries. That’s a showcase of how powerful it is.

Wait, this is not the end! There is another more powerful version of the ARRMA Infraction V2, it’s the 8s version.

This 8s version requires two 4s batteries. It can reach up to 136mph which makes it one of the fastest production RC cars in the world.

Of course, to reach that speed, you need to do some small changes and get some aftermarket parts.

Otherwise, 80mph is the well-known speed record of this RC car out of the box.

The great thing about the ARRMA Infraction V2 is now possible and easy for anyone to customize it and get a result from it which is amazing!

Other than top speed, this beast can make you enjoy drifting without worrying if the car will stay still or flip over.

Here is where it comes to the servo responsible for turning the wheels left and right. This servo comes with medium quality, it does the job very well, but, if you’re looking to increase the performance, you better go for another one.

By mentioning drifting, there is a cool feature that most RC cars don’t have. It’s the hand-break! That’s crazy.

You can stop the rear wheels completely while driving the car to create a grip and make a drift. Or, you can make a drift just by hitting the full throttle.

Overall, the ARRMA Infraction V2 can be one of the best Arrma RC cars that you can buy whether you’re a beginner or an expert.

If you’re a beginner, you don’t have to do any mono changes, all you need is to click the throttle and start enjoying.

If you’re an expert and love doing some upgrades, then, it’s easy to do!

ARRMA Infraction V2 Systems

The ARRMA Infraction V2 doesn’t come with a big amount of systems. However, those few are more than sufficient because they’re just mind-blowing!

Remote Control

First of all, if you already own an ARRMA Infraction V2, then, you should be proud of that controller that you have within your hands. Don’t you feel like driving a plane because of those multiple buttons?

The controller of the ARRMA Infraction V2 uses 2.4GHz technology. You won’t find the Arrma Logo on this remote control since they’re not the ones who built it. It is built by another company called Spektrum, especially for Arrma.

It’s called the Spektrum DX3 Radio. It does contain everything you need to perfectly control your Arrma RC car including the hand brake that we mentioned before!

This company isn’t only responsible for the radio control, it is also responsible for some other parts like the ESC and the motor as well.

Spektrum App

Besides the remote control that Spektrum provides to Arrma RC cars, the Spektrum app is available.

You can download this app on your phone. Once you open it, you have a dashboard containing all your Arrma RC car info.

To reach that, all you have to do is to connect it with the remote control using Bluetooth.

Now, you’ll be able to see a lot of settings about your RC car including the actual and the top speed, the temperature, the voltage as well as a lot more!

ARRMA Infraction V2 Upgrades

As mentioned earlier, whether you’re a beginner or an expert; you can always drive and upgrade this RC car.

Why you should upgrade it? Because it’s easy to do it!

The most simple upgrade that anyone can make is changing the batteries from a 4s to an ARRMA Infraction V2 6s! This simple upgrade will change completely the performance of your RC car!

You can add a lot more upgrades like changing the Spur Gear to reach a higher speed, and upgrading some plastic parts to Aluminum.

You can go even simpler than that, just change the body to another color. Yes, other than the black and the silver, there are some other aftermarket bodies like bronze and even clear ones.

Other than that, the ARRMA Infraction V2 doesn’t need to be upgraded because of the weakness of the parts. It’s solid as a stock, you can rely on it!

Annoying Things About the ARRMA Infraction V2

There is no perfect RC car, there is always room for improvements.

For the ARRMA Infraction V2, I found some missing features that you may find as well if you’re coming from another brand like Traxxas.

The thing that I found missing on this RC car is the systems.

It is true that the remote control abilities, as well as the app, are great.

However, some other useful systems will give you more control over your RC car.

Something like the Stability management control that prevents you from losing control over your RC car and helps you drive it better.

This system is available in Traxxas RC cars which is so cool.

Otherwise, the ARRMA Infraction V2 is amazing and has the best performance overall.

It’s not all bad though… Here are the best things I like about this RC car.

Great Things About the ARRMA Infraction V2

The ARRMA Infraction V2 is so filled with amazing features.

But some of the great things that grabbed my attention are the body mount adjustment that allows you to control the ground clearance.

The other thing that I loved about this RC car is the hand brake that you can use with the remote control.

In addition to those two, the design and the performance are the best feature that the ARRMA Infraction V2 has.
